Batam in The Nutshell

Now where should I start?
There's so much to talk about when speaking of Batam. Well, lets' sort it to the top three.

First, we all know that Batam is a small island right next to Singapore and in addition, it only takes an hour to reach Singapore by cruise.
So, if you haven't notice it before, don't be shy and check it on map. "=p" . Batam really did have a strategic location-knowing that it's almost like the center of the world-Batam could link all the country globally. Anywhere that you could think of is easily reached from Batam, and anyone could locate Batam just as easy as 1,2,3.

Second, Batam have lots of different races from all over Indonesia. The most possible reason that nearly all races around Indonesia moved to Batam is to find a job. So, even though it's a small island, Batam is known for its' industry. Industry is the most prosperous major here in this island. Batams' most well-known factory district is "Muka Kuning", the moment you set a foot here, you'll see tons of factory line up the whole street. That's the reason for the various races, that's the reason why everyone is so eager to work here. Owh! Almost forgot! The key is that salary in Batam is far more higher than any part of Indonesia. Isn't that a great news?!

And lastly, Batam is a unique place to visit. Why? You may asked. Well, nevermind the weather, life in Batam ain't as bad as you might think it is. Besides the high salary and the remarkably strategic location, Batam did have a number of attractions for you to enjoy. From the famous Barelang to a variety of resorts for you to choose. So don't mind and come along at "Visit Batam 2010".
